About Me
My Golf Story
At age 2, my dad, grandpa and uncles would take me to the golf course with a cut down club. At age 4, my dad started teaching me the game of golf, the swing and putting. At age 7, I entered my 1st golf tournament and won for the first time at my 3rd tournament. By the time I got to high school, I had won over 59 tournaments (28 runner-ups) including a Junior PGA, back-to-back USKG Texas state championships, the USKG Texas Open, my first STPGA Prestige win at age 11 and my first TJGT win at age 13. My low round during my junior golf career was a 66 at the STPGA championship and my low round during my high school career is a 64 at the TJGT Lone Star Invitational.
My Faith
As a Christian man, my faith and family are very important to me. I lean on God in times of struggle but also in times of joy.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17
My Hobbies
When I'm not at school or golf, I really love fishing. I enjoy largemouth bass fishing and in-shore saltwater fishing. Nothing beats the explosion of a bass on a topwater frog or feeling the dead weight of a flounder when it hits my jig.
Fishing is a place where I can clear my thoughts and be at peace.
